Registration for the 2024 season opens January 15, 2024. There are two ways to register:
1. Online using your existing SAA Blue Sombrero profile or by creating a new profile.
2. By mail by completing this downloadable form and mailing with payment to SAA, P.O. Box 139, Smithton IL 62285 or Venmo @SAA-IL

Divisions are determined by grade in school for the 2023-2024 school year:
Jr. Sluggers - 4- and 5-year-old pre-school boys and girls
T-Ball - Kindergarten and 1st grade boys and girls
Softball - For girls in 2nd-8th grades
Baseball - For boys in 2nd-8th grades

** It is SAA policy to not allow kids to play up a grade, with the only exceptions being extreme hardship with work or family situations, or to help fill baseball and softball rosters at the next grade up.
To request an exception, please e-mail [email protected] with your situation and the board will evaluate on a case-by-case basis. **
Baseball/Softball: You must register with your town's league per District 19's bylaws. Playing in Smithton is for Smithton families only UNLESS your town does not have a rec league or your town does not have enough players to complete a team at your child's age level. Please email [email protected] if this pertains to you and you are requesting to join a Smithton ball team.
JR Sluggers is Open to any 4 & 5yr olds not yet in kindergarten. You do not need to be from Smithton to participate in this camp!
