Objectives of Smithton Athletic Association
Provide every boy and girl in Smithton, Illinois and the surrounding communities an opportunity to participate in boys baseball, girls softball, co-ed T-Ball, and fall basketball.
Encourage youth comradery through a common interest in sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork, while keeping the welfare of the boys and girls first.
Offer the best available leadership and mentorship for all players, coaches, managers, and umpires.
Acquire and maintain adequate finances to carry out the objectives of the organization and to obtain the necessary equipment to do so, while ensuring maximum safety for all participants.
Keep up playing facilities to meet the SAA objectives.
Promote the games of basebal, softball, and basketball in the community.
